I am no troll, I am a catholic man who’s world turned upside down over a very short period of time.
I am in as much shock as everyone else is that a wife could say such to a husband. Trust me.
Think me a troll if you must to make yourselves feel better, but I promise you I am not. This situation is as real as I present. I am no liar, I am not some hack on the internet seeking attention. I am a catholic, who thought this was a place for catholics to come and share.
I came for support and now I am called names.
Not that anyone will believe it now, since real suffering is apparently trolling. But I got my results today. I** had more blood work done that I won’t have results for until Monday, but the first round I had came in today.**
I have polycythemia vera, a blood disease. I have kidney damage, and I am looking at a regimen of blood letting soon. It is a disease that does kill, but can be managed and put into remission. I will be going back on Monday to see my exact game plan
I told my wife the details, and her reaction was that of a teenager. To hide in the spare bedroom and blast loud music. I asked for her support, and she said, “You are making me anxious and upset with all this new drama, I was finally feeling better and like I would probably stay in our marriage, but now I don’t know. I want to be there for you, but I also need to know this disease won’t stop me from experiencing the freedoms I need.” I haven’t spoken to her since. I don’t plan to see her at all until therapy.
