Tv amazing race, any fans?

Yeah, I enjoy seeing parts of the US. I do hope they come on up to Canada though…

There are way too many problems with trying to take kids international and trying to do it rapidly. Imagine the family with the stepmom trying to hurridly take the kids out of the country? Border security might think that the dad is trying to kidnapp the kids (which has happened before).

I would assume that all legal concerns were taken care of before allowing the contestants to participate in the Race.

The teams would have to stop and show proof to the border agent that they had permission to bring the child out of the country. Slowing them up for no other reason and putting them at a possible disadvantage.
 
personally, I think it’s a mistake to bring the kid as particpants. Kids can’t drive, and what happen if both the adults are dead beat? How then? I dun know but I feel the gaghans probably make a mistake… However, I hope they do finish to the very last…

I used to like it but the family edition one this season is boring.

Since it is a national TV show I am assuming they have ways of “pre-screening” the travellers so that they can rush right through the airport…I have never seen a team delayed by customs or other airport security. I don’t see the problem. But I don’t mind if they just stay in the States…

alamark! the aitello? family is out! They made a serious mistake of not switching to the shrimps’ head despite many attempts at the mud drive… probably out of ignorance or pride and lost out in the race…

congrats to the linz, the weavers for making the right decision of switching, and the gaghans for the dad’s skilful manuver of the jeep.
 
i’m still not sure who i’ll be rooting for, but the paolos!!! :bigyikes:
 
I was sad to see the Aiello’s go. I thought they were a cool family…but they really should have given up on the mud run and went to the shrimp thing after the 3rd or 4th time. The Weaver’s did and look how well they did. Oh well, my Linz family is still in the race 🙂
 
my gut feelings tell me that the linzs or the goddelweski? family will win…

Surprise, surprise! The pablo family came in 2nd… hahaha… I dun understand why some want to gamble against the bankers, unless you are good at it. Better take the hard way… i.e sawing… flex yr muscles at least u know u can make it… but gamble … no way… it’s pure chance…

Did you see the preview for next week? They leave the USA. I wonder if they’re coming up here to Canada?

I still don’t have a favorite team. I usually pick one in the first episode, lol.

Honestly,

I think the pablo may not win it… the Linz and the godlewinski family stand a better chance… the dark horse is the gaghan family or the weaver family…
 
I wasn’t surprised at the team that lost tonight. It seemed like Dad wanted to run the whole show and not have any (name removed by moderator)ut from anyone else.

The Paolo’s are driving me nuts - can’t they be civil with each other for 10 seconds? I’m hoping there’s some creative editing in there and they’re not like that ALL the time. Sheesh.

Yeah, those little kids in the Gaghan family are kinda cute. I liked the “lucky pen” thing too. And her feet wouldn’t reach the pedals on the bicycle-race track thing. Too funny! Those parents really believe in their kids though, which is nice.
 
I missed this one, but will watch it tonight on video with hubby. My little one was having trouble sleeping and occupied my room for a long while.

How did the Weavers do in Talladega? I was kind of hoping it would be a little healing for them.

And I can’t help but wonder if the Aiello’s would have done better with the daughters rather than the son-in-laws. 😃 16 tries in the mud WITH THE SAME DRIVER!!! Oh my!!! But how fun would that be!

It surprises me that the Paolo’s came in second. Can’t wait to see how they pulled that one off!!!

I really hope that we are only seeing them at their worst and that most of the time they get along…but somehow I doubt it:(.
