Agreed. The route drivers rotate “old” stock to places that move through lots of product to get is sold before it goes out of date. So unless you know how to read their date codes (some are easy some are impossible) there is no guarantee anything is fresh.

So even though the shelves at the Quickie Mart are picked clean every week there is a good chance the doctor’s office vending machine was cleaned out and it’s old product moved to there to get it gone.
