The typos are not typical. At all. Time will tell whether the complaints bear fruit.

That’s been stated hundreds of times in this forum. I don’t think there will be much understanding of this.

I can tell you flat out that serious grammatical and/or formatting errors like those seen in Ms. Powell’s filings are not common in pleadings filed by actual, serious lawyers who actually plan on litigating a case. In fact, the Complaint filed in Federal Court for Michigan is probably the worst prepared pleading I have ever seen.

Honestly, after seeing what was filed, I do not believe Ms. Powell has any intention of actually litigating a case. This was done for show or some other motive. This simply was not a serious effort.

Are you comparing plat descriptions found in land records to a Complaint filed in Federal Court to overturn a Presidential election?
 
No. Master Deeds and DOTs prepared in district courts and prepared by lawyers. Again it’s very common one can go in now online and find easily hundreds that’s have combined multiple words/sentences with no spaces, and or altered word spellings and re-arranged words.

I know what you are talking about. Land Records instruments recorded in the the Land Records Dept of the County Court the property is located in. I used to walk Land Records documents through the recordation process.

When we had (mostly) older properties outside of subdivisions with “metes and bounds” survey descriptions of the real property rather than a simple plat book number, we would make sure we had the EXACT description transposed from one document to another. One person reading while the other makes sure the exact description is copied word for word, number for number. And that is some mind-numbing work.

Any real estate lawyer who would file an equivalently messy document with County Land Records and cause potential future legal problems for his/her client or property owners should be censured by the appropriate regulatory mechanisms.

But once again, this is not a conveyance of a parcel of land or an encumberance such as a tax lien being recorded in the County Clerk’s office — these were Complaints filed in Federal Court seeking to overturn the results of a Presidential election. They were so badly produced, had it been on behalf of a paying client, it would rightly be called malpractice.

There’s not much to read. OAN et al doesn’t know why he was suspended or if it is permanent, temporary for some time period, or temporary until a user deletes an offending tweet.

No, I am saying that she is doing this for some other intention. She was more concerned with filing something than making sure it was done properly.

Have you actually looked at the Michigan Complaint? The typos start at the beginning, but after page 10, the formatting errors and typos become absolutely egregious. To wit:

Really this is all you have, formatting errors (most likely due to court system scanning systems) and how quickly or non quickly the complaint was filed. Yawn!

If it was the scanning systems, then why are the errors in parts that were likely copy and pasted from other documents, but not in the whole of the pleading?

But let us look at substance of fraud claims. Many of her allegations look at the vote counts in Wayne County, MI. (where Detroit is). Wayne County is the largest jurisdiction in Michigan and has voted for the Democrat in every election since 1932. In 1984 it was the only county in Michigan’s lower peninsula to vote for Walter Mondale over Ronald Reagan.

Was there anything unusual about the voting patterns in Wayne County, MI that would indicate fraud? No. Out of 1.4 million registered voters, around 878,000 voted, numbers in line with the past several elections. Wayne County voted much like it usually does in Presidential elections.

Joe Biden won about 68% of the vote in Wayne County. In 2000, Al Gore won 69%. John Kerry took 69% in 2004. Barack Obama won Wayne County with 74% of the vote in 2008. Joe Biden’s performance in Wayne County was actually worse than any Democrat since 1996 other than Hillary Clinton in 2016 (66.4%) and Trump won 30.7% of the vote in Wayne Co. in 2020, better than any Republican since 1988.
