Jesus and God rejects all things Pagan (false Gods), the fact that throughout the entire bible there is no mention of birthdays would confirm that they are not a thing that should be celebrated.
There is also no mention of weddings in a church in the Bible. Is this something you object to as well?

There is also no mention of churches with steeples. Is this something that should not be done?

There is also no mention of folding our hands in prayer in the Bible. Is this something you believe to be objectionable?

Weddings don’t need to be performed in a building (incorrectly known ‘church’), they were always performed in the open when Jesus was alive, under a canopy. The ‘church’ are the people (usually Christians) not a building.
Steeples are a only a western thing, they don’t have them in Africa or Eastern ‘churches’, which usually have a dome. It’s interesting to point out that it was thought the larger(taller) the steeple, the closer to heaven you would be, which is not quite in keeping with what Jesus/God taught about false idols.
Praying with folded hands is a Jewish tradition, thus it would be natural to see Jesus praying with folded hands.

BUT to bring us neatly back onto topic there is no mention in the bible that a innocent divorced person cannot remarry and receive Holy Communion, yet they can’t. In fact why would there be, since the ‘Last Supper’ had not taken place at that point in time:shrug:

Then he or she isn’t “innocent” anymore, if indeed they are innocent at all. There may be mitigating circumstances, true, but no one marries (civilly or otherwise) without consent.

The date that Christmas is celebrated (birth of Christ) is not his actual birthday, so why not do it on the day he was born, otherwise what is the point?
Easter, that is the Christian Easter, should again be a fixed point in time, not aligned to the stars and moon.
Every year, millions of professing Christians celebrate the supposed birthday of Jesus Christ. Yet they do not properly observe the day that Christ died, which God clearly identifies and records in great detail in His Word. He commands his followers to observe this memorial annually. Jesus warned about such misguided professing Christians, saying, “This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men” (Mark 7:6-8). Each year, during the Christmas and Easter seasons, Jesus’ warning is proven right!
Computers, the internet and forums aren’t mentioned either so, I guess this is farewell to you since you believe if something wasn’t mentioned, it is pagan. I will pray for you.

All of the books of the new testament were written after Christ had come and gone. It is believed that 1 Thessalonians was the first one written at about 50CE.

Since you’ve been following this thread for a while, I’m sure you understand the position of the Church.
