Just confirms the US church is in schism. I doubt this can be covered up much longer. It shouldn’t be. After more than 20 years of the orthodox JP2 the US church still does not beleive. Scary cause imagine what happens when a less orthodox figure becomes Pope?

Sad and maybe telling. As does truth lie here? It may not. You need to consider that.

Thanks for the feedback… i thought it was an interesting juxtaposition. The Bishops of the U.S. seem worried and a bit defensive. I know though from personal interaction that many of our bishops are amazing men of God that do a service to the church that few would wish for. We can only pray that the current Holy Father will choose men of such caliber or even greater.
