As a Spanish and Latin Mass goer, I find it quite humorous to hear the Anglos argue about an English translation, and some don’t even go to Mass. Does God really care which translation you use?

Am I the only one who thought “why does it matter whether American Catholics strongly support the new translation?” when they read the title to this thread? I think this thinking is par for the course…giving way too much importance to what American Catholics think.

That’s the new translation, whether we support it or not. It’s not about us.
