There are many liberals here who try to use shaming within their argumentative
points. The big one is calling those of us conservatives, racists. That seems to be their favorite.

Of course a favorite of Trump supporters is to call those who criticize Trump haters. So what you describe is by no means confined to liberals.

Oh I don’t think we are shaming anyone, but simply describing what most liberal posters display in their posts condemning
our president.

If someone posted true hatred against someone, then I would agree with you. But what is posted on these forums doesn’t come close to the definition of actual hatred. The problem is that many Trump supporters are very thin skinned and they cannot take the rough and tumble of politics.

And they said the President of the United States has not specifically directed them to counter Russia’s activities. Instead of Spanish, maybe we all should be brushing up on our Russian.

Da comrade, glorious mother Russia will soon be greatest power in universe.

I don’t think many posters realize the level of contempt they have for our president.
I have seen it for over a year now. They keep denying it, but it is apparent in the many posts I have read.

And the fat 400 pound bed sitter. We never did find who that was.

I won’t be on tomorrow, but I’ll wager that Hannity tonight will discuss the Obama portrait.

Not Russia, and not Porter.

I don’t think many posters realize the level of contempt they have for posters who criticize Trump. After all, if you ask people who frequently play the “hate card” they actually will not define hate. Their definition is nowhere near the catechism definition of hate, so they have some undefined definition of hate and they refuse to give a definition. Perhaps it is because if they give a definition they will be held to account for that definition. Trump supporters have not behaved well on these forums in recent months.

Has a thread been started on CAF yet about the official portraits of Barack and Michelle?
I am sure one would have been started yesterday after the unveiling if it were Trump’s portrait that had been unveiled!

No. I hope that doesn’t make me racist.
🤨

I didn’t think they were very dignified for a president and first lady.
Too many leaves in the Obama portrait and Michelle’s was just odd.

Is this an attempt to draw a moral equilvance in order to avoid being labeled as right-wing?
They look nice in their portraits . Do you like them?
🤣

I have no problem being labeled as right wing. I would have a problem being labeled a republican though.

That’s not shaming them, it’s a knock on the head hoping you will reflect on your emotions.

And yes, all sides try use shaming as a tactic. It can work well when there is obvious hypocrisy.

If a poster expressed true hatred, then you might have a point. But when there is no hate expressed it is a bullying technique used by people who are incapable of addressing the issues.

You should know by now that Russia, China, North Korea and a whole host of bad actors are trying to hack into American institutions ALL the time.
To my knowledge, there’s no central place to hack. Yes, my county uses software to keep track of the voting count. But then it is reduced to paper for the “official” result, which is transmitted to the state. I don’t see how local counts could affect statewide voting counts unless the Russkies or someone hacked into every single county.

I think the media is conflating general network intrusions with actions that alter the actual voting.
