Um, does Gov. Andrew Cuomo sound like Al Pacino to some extent?

I really like the Cuomo brothers, they should give their mother a cameo appearance.

Go to the FAQ, you would have agreed to them when you joined up. If you have not see them yet, it might be prudent to read up and abide by them in an effort not to be suspended or banned

This is what CAF considers uncharitable and attacking the person instead of the topic. Reread the rules

I really don’t think so. I just don’t see it. Nothing like Pacino at all. But Governor Cuomo is handling the CV crisis wonderfully, and if he could get his mind right about abortion and sacrilegious “gay marriage”, he’d have my vote over Trump in a… well, in a “New York minute”.

Full disclosure: I am now a born-again, registered conservative, pro-life Democrat, and I am only voting for Trump because of the abortion issue and his ability to appoint pro-life Supreme Court justices and other federal judges.

Do any CAF members think so?
I have thought he sounded like Al Pacino from The Godfather since the first
news conference I heard him speak. It is embarrassing. He and his brother from
CNN are both embarrassing.

How can you say he has handled CV-19 wonderfully with over 18,000 dead?

If he hadn’t been so resolute and proactive, it could have been 180,000.
How was he resolute and proactive?

He took action, and he took it quickly. He is in no hurry to open everything back up — the economy tanking like it has is a horrible thing, but maybe we will end up being more in solidarity with each other, and discovering what is really important. Economies can fix themselves — can, and do. But you can’t bring people back.

This pandemic has taken an emotional, psychological and financial toll on all
Americans. The economy might fix itself, but many Americans still hadn’t fully
recovered from the financial hardships of the real estate recession and the stock market crash of 2008/2009. Now this traumatic event. We can’t bring back the
dead. Who knows what lies ahead for the rest of us?

🤔 umm … maybe.

Pacino (Dog Day Afternoon): Attic-a Attic-a!
Cuomo (General Plan): De-Basement, De-Basement!

Cuomo: Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers ARE! (1/24/14)

Pacino: “Say goodnight to the bad guy! Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There’s a bad guy comin’ through! Better get outta his way!” —Tony Montana, Scarface

Andrew Cuomo – It’s troubling for me as a Catholic to be at odds with the church.

Al Pacino - “You sharpen the human appetite to the point where it can split atoms with its desire; you build egos the size of cathedrals; fiber-optically connect the world to every eager impulse; grease even the dullest dreams with these dollar-green, gold-plated fantasies, until every human becomes an aspiring emperor, becomes his own God – and where can you go from there?” – Devil’s Advocate

Governor Cuomo: "Today we are taking a giant step forward in the hard-fought battle to ensure a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her own personal health, including the ability to access an abortion

I think he sounds like his father Mario Cuomo, and have always thought it was an affectation.
