No, through the actions of a mob of zealously delusional people, 8 innocents are dead.
 
For those of us who believe in the devil, it sounds like to devil is playing both sides of the issue. He is inflaming hate in the pastor which is inciting hate of the radicals which has destroyed innocent lives as the result of hate against hate.

You are assuming: 1. That a Koran was actually burned (it was “reportedly” burned, according to the article). 2. The murderers are being honest in their “rationale” for killing people who are completely unrelated to the guy in Florida. 3. Hate incites violence, in general and specifically in this case.

If a woman was dressed provacatively and gets raped, does some of the blame fall on her?

No it is not and Islamic religious leaders that chose to do evil and incite those nuts do not have a moral justification. These is about free will.

Alright, so if the pastor is morally wrong they should be held morally accountable for some of the blame to the deaths of those 8 UN workers right?

Why lie? If you just wanted to murder someone why make up an excuse? This was clearly the trigger. Until another motivation is given i’ll agree with what the murderers are openly admitting to.

The real issue is that the pastor KNEW something like this would happen. When he threatened to do it last year, a bunch of Muslims spoke out and threatened all sorts of violence over it. He intentionally did this to gain worldwide attention for his church and to stir people up. The Muslims’ reaction to his actions was FORESEEABLE, and yet, he went ahead with the burning of the Koran anyway. Yes, this pastor deserves a large part of the blame for this, even if only for leading others to commit a grave sin.

Exactly. Those who say the Pastor has done nothing wrong and is not to blame should perhaps look at their own political agenda/motives for failing to see the clear blame that the Pastor deserves.

Let me give an example I gave on a different thread about this. John and his girlfriend Jane are out drinking in a pub, and a man called Bob walks past and shouts that John’s girlfriend is ugly and a whore. John then punches Bob in the face.

Is Bob to blame for being punched? Well, yes he clearly wanted a reaction and he got one. John is still responsible for his own actions, but who are you going to have the more sympathy for? The aggressor or the “responding” aggression?

To be honest, this whole situation reminds me of some stupid person poking a bull in the eye with a stick - to prove that a bull will react aggressively. 🤷

Quote it. Lay it out for me plainly, according to Islamic doctrine, the motives behind these murders according to the teachings.
 
I can’t believe the stupid actions of a pastor are being compared with those of a murderous mob.

Step by step nothing. The fact taht the world has to tolerate this heinous crud from anyone is beyond explanation. The UN should carpet bomb the whole freakin area with the message, “Next time we cover the entire land with an inch of salt.” WHy do we, as civilized people, feel the need to put up with this barbarity?

I’ll agree with you that some of our enemies in the middle east need to be converted to glass via WMD. This still doesn’t excuse the pastor from acting immorally.
