And The Catholic Church and Salvation was reprinted the SSPV, which I assume is the sedevacantist group. So there is interest from diverse parts of the Church, but I am not sure what that says about him.
Angelus Press is run by the SSPX, not the SSPV. The SSPX is not sedevacantist.

Personally, I think it’s a good reference but it’s very scholarly so you might have to read through it a few times.

Yes, Angelus Press is SSPX.

The wiki article says that SSPV published this book in 20016, specifying the Round Top NY location where the SSPV is centered. I could not find an ISBN or other identifier, only the amazon store identification number.

They do not look like they do much publishing from my quick look, so I think it likely the wiki is incorrect, and SSPX published the book.

I assume it is a photocopy of the 1958 book from Newman Press? Do you have any other identification for the publisher? Not that I doubt you, but Angelus could be selling it for SSPV. I am just curious now…

… there’s been an attempt to broaden the use of Invincible Ignorance in a way that it applies to everyone who is not Catholic. Even those that outright reject the faith are placed under this universal umbrella.
Yes. And it’s more than just an attempt-- it’s pretty much a done deal. Now we talk about the relative “fullness” of the truth and the notion that other faith traditions somehow still “owe” their salvation to the Catholic Church. (Just ask the members of those other churches if they believe this.)

There comes a point when something is so completely “redefined” it no longer means what it did. “Outside the Church…” is meaningless now because no one is effectively outside the church. I call this a major change in church teaching.
(It) reduces the Catholic Church from being necessary to merely preferred .
You are absolutely correct.

I am not sure that non-Catholic Christians would welcome this.
Of course not, and as I noted, as a practical matter the Church generally does not make her laws apply to them. There are exceptions, however. For example, since 2009 Catholic marriage laws still apply to non-Catholics if they were formerly Catholic. So even if someone defects from the Church through schism or heresy, they are still subject to the Church’s jurisdiction.
