Thank you stbruno, those are good articles. Though my husband is not technically and unbeliever, he seems like one often times so I can relate.

I know how you feel a little. But I’m convinced each year that it is possible for husbands to grow in the Faith. Here are a few things that maybe you can do. Prayer and fasting::). Offer up your misery to God with love for your husband. Many rosaries: 🙂 🙂 🙂 .

I don’t think it does much good to complain to him about being “unspiritual”, because realistically, what can he do? Faith is a gift from God, it’s not something that a husband can put on in order to please his wife. He has to want it for himself, not for you. That would just be too phony. Try to meet him where he is and bring him around very subtly, so he never ever knows what hit him, lol. You can influence him greatly through your kindness and good example.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask him to pray a simple prayer each day, maybe a decade of the rosary at night. In that way, you can ask the Blessed Mother to put him under her mantle–she will!
