At a local baptist college, one of the chapels has a mural on the ceiling of four men. These men are St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther, and Calvin. Now, this is some foursome. After the initial humor of it, I began to think: which of these do not belong with the other? You can say the two reformers do not go with the Doctors of the Church, but I see another division. One of them seems out of place to me. Further, which of these do you think would get along the least? I have my thoughts, but I will save them for a few posts…
