Bill Donahue wrote to the president of the Univ. last year

Call them. You’ve got to get their attention - a petition usually goes to one person who can trash it. Make the phone call to U of Minn.

They are using students to ridicule the Catholics at the University and their faith and the faith of anyone who attends this event. It’s open bigotry and they must stop it on those grounds alone. Would they teach their students to ridicule blacks, gays, Jews, Muslims - Where is the ACLU on this one?
Shameful bigotry. - let them know.

Just read this on another post:

Offensive Art Display in Corpus Christi, Texas

Here’s a qoute from the article by Father Farfaglia:

"However, allow me to be frank and clear. If, at any time, you were to ever have anything here that might be clearly offensive to Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary or the Pope, I will be your worse nightmare. That priest over there and myself will have 5,000 people in front of your door and we will shut you down. Do you understand?

Here’s a page of links to the Diocese in Minnesota.

Let’s email a copy of this quote to all the bishops in that state and ask them to scrounge up the courage to do the same thing Fr. Farfaglia did.

I phoned both numbers and got voice mail for both. Apparently they don’t want to hear from people.

I did speak with a person at the President’s office.(626-1616) He said it is still scheduled to begin in March.

Those kinds of people only disrespect Christianity, it appears.

There is another Thread posted on the Forum on the University of Minnesota’s play that will go on for 9 days in March. Here are the numbers to call from that Thread.

I read (somewhere? sorry, I didn’t get the link) last night that, because of the 2 feet of snow over the past few days, the show never opened (or at least, didn’t open for a few days)

Also, read this article about the Catholic Protest.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thank you , God.

2 quotes from the article:Among the comments made in the local newspapers and blogs regarding the events of the past two nights, there has been an interesting thread running through them, namely, comments about the singing of traditional chants and hymns.

I guarantee that observers and protesters who pay no attention to mean-spirited and tiresome shouts of protest will take notice. That’s what a song of victory does. Always has, always will.
