Universal Church, according to Cardinal Reinhard Marx, “owes a lot to the Greek Catholic Church in Ukraine for the testimony during communism.” “Countless arrested, imprisoned, and killed - cannot be forgotten. Your faithfulness to the Gospel motivates and inspires us”, reads the letter as reported by Information Department of the UGCC.
