Why must you be a drama queen?
Yeah. So?
Jesus Christ is the Head of the Holy Orthodox Church.
Jesus Christ.
I accept Matthew 16–but not your interpretation of it.

👋
oh my! who put you in charge to decide what Catholics must believe or not to believe. that is one more reason why we need an authority such as the Pope. Jesus knew that. listen to yourself talking. You pick and choose what you want to believe, therefore i can do the samething. except that the Lord knew all about that He knew without an authority his church would fall into CHAOS. Can you imagine everyone trying to be an authority himself?

I am not telling you what to believe. You have free-will. You will believe what you choose. I am simply stating what I believe according to the Holy Orthodox Church. No need to be angry.

Papa.
I believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. And I believe in the Apostolic succession of bishops. But I do not believe that “one” bishop (Rome) is the supreme infallible pontiff by which all others must submit.
does it even matter what you believe? what matters most is the truth. you can say all you want the truth is truth wether you believe or not. you come across as if you are putting yourself above God. you say you believe in Jesus. yet you do not believe what he says. explain how that works for you.

does it even matter what you believe?
Yes.
what matters most is the truth.
Yes.
you come across as if you are putting yourself above God…
Wha? I surely hope you are joking. That is a terrible thing to say. 😦
you say you believe in Jesus. yet you do not believe what he says.
I believe everything that my Saviour says. What an insulting thing for you to say. Why do you insult people in such a way?

you are wrong on that. i am not angry. i have free will not to believe in what i want to believe. that is the difference between us.

Yes.

Arrogancy! again how can you be so sure you are right? when so many claim the same thing? explain that.

No arrogancy. The Holy Orthodox Church has not changed in 2000 years. But Rome has. When the Churches were one, there was no such thing as purgatory, supreme papal infallibility, Immaculate conception, etc. Holy Orthodoxy holds the Apostolic faith.

How can that be? the RCC also claims the same thing.

Both Churches were one. They were the same Church. When they split one of the Churches began to add new doctrines. I know that you call this development of doctrine. But Holy Orthodoxy sees it as innovation.

Martin Luther Quote:

“I never approve of a schism, nor will I approve of it for all eternity…that the Roman Church is more honored by God than all others is not to be doubted. St Peter and St Paul, forty-six popes, some hundreds of thousands of martyrs, have laid down their lives in its communion, having overcome hell and the world; so that the eyes of God rest on the RCC with special favor. though now and days everything is in a wretched state, it is no ground for separating from the Church that we can make it better. we must not separate from God on account fo any work of the devil, nor cease to have fellowship with the children of God who are still abiding in the pale of Rome on account the multitude of the ungodly. there is no sin, no amount of evil, which should be permitted to dissolve the bond of charity or break the bond of unity of the body for love can do all things and nothing is difficult to those who are united.”

Now we have a problem. who decide who is right?

I cannot explain. Our ways are not God’s ways. In silence, the Lord will speak to your heart in a small still voice.
really. how is that? is God whispering to each of us causing contradiction and confusion? and disbilief? is it what is in the Bible? how is that the Bible having the same writing yet so many different interpretation. is it all God’s doing?

Also the Bible says that Jesus spoke of a Kingdom. He also says He would built a Church and the gates of hell would not prevail. which Church is that? did hell prevail over this Church? where is this Church? thanks for your answer.

1 kings 19:9-12
And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?
And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

‘And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; he flashed forth lightnings, and routed them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, and the foundations of the world were laid bear, at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of thy nostrils’ (Ps. 18.14)…By ‘the foundations of the world,’ we shall understand the strength of God’s wisdom, by which, first, the order of the universe was established, and then, the world itself was founded—a world which will not be shaken. Yet you will not in any way err from the scope of the truth if you suppose that ‘the world’ is actually the Church of God, and that its ‘foundation’ is in the first place, that unspeakably solid rock on which it is founded, as Scripture says: ‘Upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it’; and elsewhere: ‘The rock, moreover, was Christ.’ For, as the Apostle indicates with these words: ‘No other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Christ Jesus.’ Then, too, after the Savior himself, you may rightly judge the foundations of the Church to be the words of the prophets and apostles, in accordance with the statement of the Apostle: ‘Built upon the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.’ These foundations of the world have been laid bare because the enemies of God, who once darkened the eyes of our mind, lest we gaze upon divine things, have been routed and put to flight—scattered by the arrows sent from God and put to flight by the rebuke of the Lord and by the blast from his nostrils. As a result, having been saved from these enemies and having received the use of our eyes, we have seen the channels of the sea and have looked upon the foundations of the world. This has happened in our lifetime in many parts of the world (Commentary on the Psalms, M.P.G., Vol. 23, Col. 173, 176).

Are you saying that the Church is the earth? who are the enemies? you mean to say that going to your church on sundays is worthless? that the churches do not mean nothing? i dont quite understand what you are saying.

The Church is where heaven meets earth at each Divine Liturgy–in preparation for our eternal home in the Kingdom of heaven. Satan is our enemy and his arrows are injurous to us. Inflamed passions are our derangement.
