Let’s untie these silly knots in our soul God doesn’t want. Let’s take belief as easyas it is and as joyful as it is.
Some of my friends where disappointed and worried, because Pope Francis’ changes in annulments of marriage, when he finally simplified the marital nullity

But this act was long ago overdue, as so many live forcedly in broken marriages, which is life-long hell for many innocently forced into terrible marriages with violent partners and more; marriages that have nothing to do with Christian togetherness, in fact a disgrace before the Lord.
In the up to now execised way, too many true Christians and absolute believers were excommunicated (my mother for one), which too is a disgrace before the Lord. To this the Pope will set an end. Mom did not, but many former Christians when against their solemn will were excommunicated then also left belief - which is a huge catastrophe which drww circles. They simply were disappointed by our Church more than they could bear, and we must avoid to judge them, for we can’t really reenact what’s going on in them.
A friend asked: Can anyone who is pro-abortion be a Catholic? If we do not follow the Church on matters of morality and faith, we are outside of the Church. A clear case, for he who is pro-abortion = pro murdering unborn children, thinks and acts contrary to Christ’s doctrine, not letting live him, who is wanted by God. So, this opinion is anti-Christian altogether, disregarding if Catholic or any other Christian. Far off any Christian doctrine.
A celebrity (as many others we know) often highlights the fact he is Catholic on his show. He goes to Mass and lives a clean life. He lives with his girlfriend and their son. He is also pro-gay marriage. However - he is still Catholic. All of us got one or two points not in line with Jesus Christ, but we are not aware of it and were shocked if we suddenly got the insight of the truth. Many are completely unsure of right and wrong and therefore simply line up with the main-stream. Besides, those living together in martial togetherness, are married to their woman anyhow - though not in the Christian way - unaware that it’s the Christian blessing that provides the ribbon to sanctify marriage in God. But married he is in the way St. Paul pointed out in 1Cor 6,16: Or do you not know that anyone who is united with a prostitute is one body with her? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”
This of course by no means implies that his woman is a prostitute! Paul here simply used draconic language - though it does apply to real prostitutes as well! So, many will find themselves with trembling and awe having been married to many before God, of which they had no idea during their time on earth.
I fear that in this line too goes the terribly ugly „semen-donation“ - which make men „father“ to even hundreds of people they got not the slightest hunch to.
Back to Pope Benedict’s word „BELIEF IS EASY“
Christianity’s general problem is, that we got by far too many ifs and buts in our though believing, but much too worried soul. It’s so easy to live in God through Jesus’ doctrine of the but 2 commandments; love God and love your next. So let’s untie these silly knots in our soul God doesn’t want. And take it easy.
„Take it easy“ does by no mens indicate we are free to neglect any of Christ’s doctrines. But ones we got it, we’ll inevitably find out, that a life within Jesus’ doctrine, is a lot easier than outside.
