Oh God, hear our prayer for the men you have chosen to follow in your Son’s footsteps.
Teach them humility and fidelity to unselfishly help others.
May their devotion to Our Blessed Mother, Queen of Vocations increase, enabling them to do your will.

Strengthen their prayer life that they may grow spiritually without worldly distractions.
Give them courage and perseverance in their studies.
May the Holy Spirit lighten their struggles with their vocations, until they know the joy of being a priest.

We ask this through Christ your Son.

Amen.

Amen.
And may they be guided in their discernment into the orders and diocese best suited to their gifts in accordance with His holy will.
Amen.

There are, of course, religious orders of beggars, but they serve a very unique roll in the Church, and (as far as I’m aware) there are presently no religious orders who own nothing but the clothes on their back (and a walking stick).
Capuchin Franciscans live with the poor that they serve.

Dear Lord,
Please help us all to be open to the vocations You have chosen for us. May we respond to your call and live our lives in accordance with your will.
May the men called to serve you as priests, find the religious orders which best suit them and may our archdioceses thrive from an influx of holy men who answer to your call.
Amen.

May our Lord Jesus Christ inspire many men to be priests.

May our Blessed Mother intercede for their sanctity.

Blessed Virgin Mary, daughter of the Father, mother of the Son, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, pray for all seminarians. Amen.

A Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood:

Lord Jesus, you invite us to pray the Lord of the harvest that He send labourers into His harvest.

Lord and God of all
, call to the priesthood men on fire with your divine love, who will be the voice of the Good Shepherd to the scattered sheep of the flock.
R. Lord of the harvest, send labourers into your harvest.
Lord and Saviour , bless us with holy priests. Through their ministry may your life-giving presence in the sacraments be always present in your Church.
R. Lord of the harvest, send labourers into your harvest.
Lord and Giver of Life , raise up men filled with your power and with great missionary zeal, so that all who dwell in darkness may come to live in the light of Christ.
R. Lord of the harvest, send labourers into your harvest.

( Pause for silent personal prayer for vocations to the priesthood ).
Lord Jesus, you called chosen men to be with you; to preach the good news of salvation and to have authority over the powers of darkness. Send your Holy Spirit upon the men you have chosen for the priestly ministry. May they answer your call and follow you with generous hearts.

Amen.

Praying for our priests and seminarians and for those discerning vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Soul of Christ, be my sanctification.
Body of Christ, be my salvation.
Blood of Christ, fill all my veins.
Water of Christ’s side, wash out my stains.
Passion of Christ, my comfort be.
O good Jesus, listen to me.
In Thy wounds I fain would hide,
N’er to be parted from Thy side,
Guard me, should the foe assail me.
Call me when my life shall fail me.
Bid me come to Thee above,
With Thy saints to sing Thy love,
World without end.
Amen.

Lord, open our hearts to your call and guide us as we discern our vocations.
May each of us serve you in a manner best suited to us as Your creations.
May those called to serve as Your priests receive the graces sufficient to live our their call with fidelity and courage, so that they might shepherd your flock well and, in doing so, increase in holiness, all to your glory.
Amen.

That is great news. I pray a rosary each week for vocations, glad to hear of them answering God’s call.

Prayers offered. May God bless all those who answer the call to shepherd his flock.
amen.

May God bless our past, present, and future spiritual Fathers and may they image Him in thought, word, and deed.
Amen.

May God bless you (name removed by moderator) and may He also bless all of those seminarians for whom you pray so fervently.
I will miss you and when I think of you will be praying for you.
I hope you will be able to stay in touch.
Take care,
jt

May the Holy Spirit strengthen and protect those discerning their call to Holy Orders so that they may joyfully respond to this call.
Amen.
