The definition of a Marxist is someone who expresses Marxist ideology. So yes, he called the Pope a Marxist.

This reminds me of children insisting they were called stupid because an idea they had was.

You can easily look up the word Marxist. It in no way says what you claim.

Rush was calling the paper And the ideas in Marxist. This is not calling the Pope such, nor is it an aspersion on the church.

You wish to claim insult and injury where there is none.
 
Good research. One has to read what a person says.

If all one can do is aim an ad hom at someone even in the public eye, they don’t have much.

You “just want to see where” a poster is “coming from,” eh? Loyalty tests are really tedious and do nothing to advance genuine discussion. No one here, as far as I know, has praised an attack on Barron Trump.

I never saw that it was down. The only issue I saw, if I can call it that, is their domain wasn’t redirecting to the www sub-domain.
 
FYI, snl didn’t air a sketch to that effect. A writer expressed that opinion. It was a terrible thing to say, but it never was in the program.
