Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

That’s exactly what we called it when it was posted to our 40 Days for Life Vigil Update that goes out via email to our distribution list and then as it was posted on our website BLOG.

If you want to read about a difficult day we had, read yesterday’s blog (Day 22), at www.40daysforlife.com/renotahoe Note that with all that happened yesterday, it certainly looks like the evil one is busy trying to discourage those who are working on our campaign. And yet, we know that we wouldn’t be getting such obvious attention if we were a risk to the evil ways and if we weren’t making progress. So we stay firmly on our course, with Prayer and Fasting, Constant Vigil, and Community Outreach.

And now the local abortionist has posted a sign which says “God is Pro-Choice” As one woman who came to see his previous sign which quotes scripture (“Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged”) said, “I don’t think you’ll find that in scripture!”

I appreciate your continued prayers. Shawn Carney has just blown through Washington and Nevada and he’s now half-way through his visit to California, visiting 10 campaign sites in 4 days. The poor guy hasn’t had a minute to just catch his breath and gather his thoughts in days.

I was blessed to have quite a bit of travel time with him, which gave me the opportunity to touch bases with him and share a bit of what’s going on in our community.

And, by the way, our local abortion site has been closed 3 out of 5 days this week! He was closed Monday, Thursday and Friday this week and he’s been taking a lot of long weekends lately.

That, combined with the signs he’s recently posted, one states “Judge not and you will not be judged” and “God is Pro-Choice”, give good indication that our prayers are having a positive impact, even if it is only to trouble his conscience. For a troubled conscience indicates that there is a conscience attempting to exert itself, and this is a very good thing!

Please, continue to storm heaven for our campaign through-out the nation!

Well, we’re approaching day 40 and if I ever get to sleep, I need to get up soon and prepare for our Wrap-up Rally.

Please pray that it goes well, as once again, the speakers I had hoped for have all but one, fallen through. But I know that the Holy Spirit provides, so I will trust that this too will be exactly the vigil Rally that is meant to be.

Please pray that His Will be done and that only good prevails on this the final day of our 40 Day Vigil, the Beginning of the End of Abortion.

I thought that since you were so good as to Pray to End Abortion during the Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign last year, that you might be interested to hear that the campaign is about to start again, this time it will end on the Sunday before election day (Sept 24 - Nov 2). 173 cities are participating in 45 states, with 15 states having 5 or more campaigns!
