Mary's Lamb:
Leslee,

You can be assured that we here in the United States will keep your country in our prayers. Since 911, we know the sorrow that the terrorist can inflict.

My prayers are with you also.
Mary
Praying for your people and country.:gopray2: :gopray: :gopray2:

I do have a question. Please do not think it is rude. But, our media stated that in the UK that these acts are not ever called ISLAMIC TERROR acts. Even if they were proven to be from an ISLAMIC group. Is this true and if so why?

I was frightened for my elder brother who is working around central London, it was very scary when I could not get through because of the mobile phones, I had to leave college and go home to console my mother. He is alive and well, thank God, thankyou God!
Everyone in the UK we have been expecting something like this to happen ever since we went to war with Iraq but it is still still shocking. I don’t think people will support the war on Terrorism though, it is a freaking ideology, when will these world leaders get it into their thick skulls? We should never have got involved with the American goverment, we should never have gone to Iraq.
Bush had the nerve to make a speech about the death of innocents, about the taking of human rights? What? What?! He is responsible for death of hundreds of people and flaunts human rights on a frequent basis. I hope he chokes on a freaking pretzel! I hope Tony Blair starts to break away from Bush.
I am so angry!

London, you are in my heart and prayers.
That is unbelievable to blame Blair or Bush:eek: The terrorist did it,they are responsible for this outrage:nope:

Let’s also pray this terrorist cell gets rounded up quickly, before they can plan any more destruction. 😦

EDIT: Oh, and now isn’t the time to be bickering over politics.

Odd way some in the world have of closing their eyes…while the whole world is under attack from neanderthals. Strange thing is…the neanderthals don’t mind being called Islamic Terroist. They are already bragging about it.

What is wrong with you SomeGuy? Innocent people dead and you DARE to blame the Prime Minister and George Bush? Who do you think you are?

TERRORISTS are to blame :banghead: Blood is on their hands! They have taken lives to gain ‘martyrdom’!!! How dare you blame the VICTIMS!!! :nope:

The War on Terror is irrelevant. The Islamists would have striken anyway - last time I looked Britain is not a Muslim country operating under Islamic law. They just want to make the world Islamist! The war on terror is completely justified if we didnt have it this would be a daily occurence in London, New York, wherever. :crying:

HOW DARE YOU DISGRACE THE MEMORY OF MY INNOCENT COUNTRYMEN?

Michael :crying:

I am so happy that your brother is safe and well. I understand that you are angry and that is OK. But, please, don’t blame President Bush. (This is coming from one who is not sure she supports the war in Iraq.) He does not have that much control over people/world events. This was the bombers choice to do this-they will be held responsible by God(and hopefully, if they are caught, by the government).

Prayers are being said as I write this(all morning, too!)

He doesn’t seem to mind…as long as his family is safe. Some people just can’t add 2+2. It’s all about 1 to them. He thinks the 3000 + murdered in NY…don’t count, never mind the US nor Britan were attaking anyone, just turning a blind eye for years. Now, the 40+ in London don’t count as long as they are not his own. Go figure.

In addition to these prayers (which I share) I also pray that justice be done. That the perpetrators of these crimes be identified, tried in a court of law, and removed from the general population so that England’s children may be protected from this terror. May God have mercy on the souls of people so deluded as to take innocent lives.

The Lord said to Cain: “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground” (Gen 4:10).The voice of the blood shed by men continues to cry out, from generation to generation, in ever new and different ways.

– Pope John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae

Please remember my family in your prayers too. My dad’s entire side of the family lives in London and the surrounding areas. I don’t know yet if any of my cousins or aunts and uncles were “one of them”. I’m hoping to hear back soon.

Dear Eden. Your family are in my prayers. I have an uncle, an aunt, a cousin and their families in downtown London and on the outskirts. I phoned my uncle this morning very early. The folks are all alive. Thank you God.

I am glad your brother is safe. As for you, you need help. Go talk to your priest if you are Catholic. A good psychiatrist may also be in order. Why are you not blaming the people who actually did this? Are you so blind that you can’t see that the Islamic/Fascist want to take down every democratic government in the world, no matter what they do? Please for your own sake, and the sake of your family seek the help you need.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. I’m just leaving the office to try to get home. Please continue to pray for us all.

Please join in on the rosary thread started for those in London.

Here’s the telegram from Pope Benedict XVI:

TO HIS EMINENCE CARDINAL CORMAC MURPHY O’CONNOR

ARCHBISHOP OF WESTMINSTER

DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE NEWS OF THE TERRORIST ATTACKS IN CENTRAL LONDON THE HOLY FATHER OFFERS FERVENT PRAYERS FOR THE VICTIMS AND FOR ALL THOSE WHO MOURN. WHILE HE DEPLORES THESE BARBARIC ACTS AGAINST HUMANITY HE ASKS YOU TO CONVEY TO THE FAMILIES OF THE INJURED HIS SPIRITUAL CLOSENESS AT THIS TIME OF GRIEF. UPON THE PEOPLE OF GREAT BRITAIN HE INVOKES THE CONSOLATION THAT ONLY GOD CAN GIVE IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES.

CARDINAL ANGELO SODANO

SECRETARY OF STATE

Prayers like these are not worthy to be posted. One side of your mouth you are thanking God and on the other side you are hoping for some evil to happen to our President. Do you actually think God is happy? The only one happy with these kinds of statements is Satan – evil himself. We need to pray for the perpetrators of these heinous acts. When has Bush ordered innocent people to be mercilessly killed? The US and British are directing their actions against the type of people that do this and regrettably some innocent are killed but their actions are never directed against the innocent simply to kill, maim, and terrorize. We** must **pray for these evil people who commit these despicable acts. God have mercy on their souls.
I hope Tony Blair starts to break away from Bush.
The British will NEVER cower and run with their tail between their legs like the Spaniards. The British have strong resolve and we Americans stand side-by-side, shoulder-to-shoulder with them. I firmly believe that the English and the Americans will be the only ones who will remain strong in fighting the terrorist. The whole world cowers in the face of evil. We MUST pray and ask God for intercession to stop this madness and pray, pray, pray—**-****St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the enemy. May God rebuke him we humbly pray. And do thou on Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan an all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen **

I agree…and I’m praying…also asking St Michael

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in our day of battle; protect us against the deceit and wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.

And you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God banish into hell Satan and all of the evil spirits who roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Blair just spoke from 10 Downing. An awe-inspiring, simple, clear message to the terrorists: Britain will not waver in its resolve to end terrorism.

More proof, IMO how liberalism, as practiced in the western world is a sickness.

I am so sad, Someguy. You’ve written exactly what the terrorists wanted you to write. I’m sorry for those who were murdered by terrorists in London today. I’ve prayed for the souls of the dead, for the injured to be healed and for the grieving that they may find Peace.

I also ask God Almighty to grant freedom-loving people all over the world the resolve to end terrorism forever.
