US Archbishop Change: Military Archdiocese

This morning it was announced that Pope Benedict XVI has named Archbishop Timothy Paul Broglio as Archbishop of United States of America, Military.

The Archdiocese had been vacant since Archbishop Edwin Frederick O’Brien was named Archbishop of Baltimore in July 2007.

Archbishop Broglio had been serving as Apostolic Nuncio to Dominican Republic.
 
Congratulations to Archbishop Broglio.

I really enjoyed his performance in “Inside the Vatican” 😛
