This morning the Holy See announced that Pope Benedict XVI has accepted the retirement of Archbishop Daniel Edward Pilarczyk. Archbishop Dennis Marion Schnurr succeeds him as Archbishop of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

Archbishop Schnurr had been serving as Coadjutor Archbishop of the same archdiocese.
