US Bishop Change: Owensboro, Kentucky

This morning the Holy See announced that Pope Benedict XVI has named Bishop-elect William F. Medley as the new Bishop of Owensboro, Kentucky, USA.

The diocese had been vacant since the resignation of Bishop John Jeremiah McRaith in January 2009.
