US Bishop Change: Pensacola-Tallahassee

This morning the Holy See announced the decision of Pope Benedict XVI to accept the resignation of Bishop John Huston Ricard, S.S.J. as Bishop of Pensacola-Tallahassee, Florida, USA.

(The resignation was for health reasons.)

Wow! There are a lot of bishops retiring in our province this year. The bishop of St. Augustine’s(my bishop) retirement has already been accepted.
