As an Aggie Catholic who was baptized by Bishop-Elect Konderla this past Easter vigil, I say, WHOOP! Though he will be very dearly missed by the St. Mary’s community and Aggie students. Tulsa has a great man to be their Bishop and I pray he guides them as well as he did us students at Aggieland.

I moved away from Tulsa 9 years ago. Was actually surprised from this article to find out that Slattery was still Bishop.

I hope so. I hope he is familiar with the Extraordinary Form. He has some big shoes to fill liturgically. Bp Slattery presided over some unbelievable Masses.
