Even I, as a Canadian have been praying for God’s Holy Will to be done during the U.S elections. I kinda told Him that I was hoping Romney would get the edge but that if He had a better plan, He knows best.
The Blessed Mother is also helping out šŸ˜‰
Will keep praying on this side of the border…
Thank You! :D:thumbsup:šŸ™‚

I crossed myself numerous times. Wait until tomorrow morning’s Rosary. I have a lot to be thankful for.
Me too. I had a friend over, another Catholic, pro life and pro Romney so we were having a great time watching Mitt with his smiling face dismantle Obama. I particularly loved the point of the billions wasted on ā€œgreen energyā€ that could have hired thousands of teachers. Obama did not have the FACTS and without the MSM running interference he was like the Emperor with No Clothes. All of his dopey ideas were out there for us to see. He is such an idealogue, blathering away with the same tired talking points. He had no command of the facts and thankfully Romney nailed him time after time.

Have to give the moderator credit as there was concern with the way Obama starts filabustering and no one else can comment. But he did keep it pretty much under control.

This is Romney. He’s smart, good hearted, honest and willing to work with all sides to solve a problem. Obama could have tripped on his lower lip by the end of the debate. He looked so sullen and angry.

It’s morning in America even if it’s evening here.

David Axelrod is really, really defensive on CNN right now. Boy, do they know they lost.

Putting Romney on the same stage as the President gives him credibility to people who haven’t seen him much to date. In the actual debate, he did very well and looked calm, comfortable, and presidential.

I prayed Vespers before for the intentions of Romney doing well.

God is good.

I think it’s cute that they wore theme ties… Obama’s was blue, Romney’s was red.

Prior to the debate I was voting against Obama - now I feel like I can actually vote FOR Romney.

Well done, Mitt. Well done. šŸ‘

I can’t explain how joyous I am about this debate. I honestly didn’t think Romney could even get close to sparring with Obama! Oh how wrong was I?

I prayed a Rosary earlier today for Mitt Romney to do well, prayer never fails.

Thank you so much! The more prayers the better!

That is the key word: Romney looked presidential. More so than the incumbent.

How do we protect against that?
Voter IDs help. But all that early voting, especially absentee ballot voting leaves lots of room for voter fraud. I don’t know if they can electronically manipulate the votes. Probably.

This is just the first debate. I suspect Obama’s muted demeanor is simply strategy. ā€œIt’s a chess game, not checkers.ā€ 😃

Not a very interesting debate so far.

Romney’s poll numbers are always low with regard to likeability, and he seems to be having issues with that again tonight.
I actually thought Romney was pleasant and likable. He smiled at the President, they had some light moments, and was a personable guy overall. I’m not sure what you are talking about here.

       Are you serious? I suppose that’s the same strategy my Cleveland Browns have employed this year … and we haven’t won a single game. Surely you jest?

I agree, Jason. I have never seen Romney look better on the stage. Or Obama worse.

I hope people REALLY watch out for any tricks.
