Romney doesn’t swear, smoke, drink alcohol, coffee or tea and you think he takes amphetamines?

I can’t wait for the Benghazi debate! Oh…and Happy Anniversary Mr. President.

How am I slandering someone’s character, or bearing false witness? IT IS MY OPINION! As you will note in the news release, I posted, numerous ‘young’ students take these drugs to help increase their recall, and cognitive function so as to get great marks in their exams. It is not a ‘slanderous’ action to take such a drug.
Its calumny, and its a mortal sin. Gov. Romney is entitled to his good name unless you have actual evidence to support your opinions. Even if you did have evidence, which you do not, revealing information without serious cause would be the sin of detraction, which is also a mortal sin. The Church has consistently taught that both of these sins are violations of the 7th commandment in that they are violation of justice, and the 8th commandment not to bear false witness.

Is is just a liberal bias or is the GOP really suffering a slow demographic death? One good debate isn’t going to alter that trend - it’s going to require offering something that is more innovative than a return to failed economic policies of the past.

I may lean left, but not that far left. I believe this country needs at least two healthy political parties in order to stay balanced, and the future of the GOP looks a lot less certain than the future of the Democrats.
I’m gonna guess liberal bias…there are more registered Republicans than Democrats. 🤷

And you made this about someone who is 67 years old, so you are saying I could make references to say someone’s skin color and if they put in a good debate, I could say, “well, I think maybe they were using some stimulants for their good performance.”
I think you’ll find that coginitive functioning declines with age which has been researched and presented in numerous medical research studies. I’'ve never in my life read or heard of someone’s skin colour having anything to do with their mental ability or cognitive functioning.

You have never heard it mentioned before? You have never heard that some people have theorized that some races are not as smart as others due to mental ability or cognitive functioning? Have you ever heard some people don’t learn as well in school? Perhaps even some “skin colours”??

Look, and I am not really saying this about you, what if I said that IN MY OPINION, the way you post indicates that you are high on cocaine. Just my opinion.

Now do you see the problem with your comments?

WOW, speaking against Gov. Romney is a mortal sin? Hard to believe. 🤷

How is it a ‘mortal sin’? If, for the sake of argument, say he does take cogniitive enhancement drugs, that in itself is not a slanderous offence, it does not take away his good character, it is legally moral and the medication would be prescribed by a doctor?

Oh, knock it off. You’re not stupid by a long shot, and such comments do not become you.

Making unfounded accusations that someone whom you don’t even know is on drugs is a sin and you know it. Romney, Obama, or you and me. It doesn’t change that.

Now, to go back to the debate, Obama seems to have the right initials, considering his stinky performance.

😃

Yes, I am a child. But, I have to admit I am a happy child. I am very pleased that Romney did so well.

So you think the only way anyone over the age of say 65 years old can make good arguments is if they are taking drugs to aid them in their arguments?

I mean we have Al Gore making “altitude” an excuse. Maybe that’s it.

Fine, but it would be untrue and would need to be proven. Cocaine is an illegal drug, so I could be jailed or arrested by your comment if it was reported to the police. However, legal prescription drugs used by older people to enhance their ‘brain function’ are prescribed by a doctor and are not illegal. Taking such medication does not cause judgement to one’s character, as they are medically prescribed drugs. However, taking illegal drugs would be slanderous as to partake of same is a criminal offence.

Please stop. You were wrong. You are derailing the thread. Stop trying to defend your stance. Please.

So you are saying the only way an older person and all older people can put up a good argument as Romney did last night is if they are aided by drugs? This is what you are saying?

What would Ben Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson think??
