If I can add one final thing, what do you mean by “traditional” Catholic?" Either you espouse the full teachings of the RCC or you fall into the cafeteria Catholic bucket. There really is no wiggle room.

I agree that some Cleansing Fire people are over the top, but many were very upset at the +Clark’s guidance, rightfully so. He even had an Imprimatur revoked by Pope Benedict when he was still a cardinal. That is some pretty serious stuff.

My fear is that Ceasar’s law has launched this country into a moral abyss. I am equally confused about the “fear and intimidation” quote.
 
I really will make this my last post on this subject. I will admit, I did not like the media attention glorifying the SSM between Abby and her partner. The display was harmless. What the media attached to it was not. There are some of us here who are very uncomfortable with the fact that legalized SSM will be the slippery slope to the end of religious freedom. If they are living a chaste life, great! But where was the same media coverage of, say Shannon Boxx or Carli Lloyd kissing their husbands?

For those of us who really espouse living in full accord with the RCC, the media coverage in this country is making it terribly hard to raise children who are not influenced in some way, shape or form by the SSM media attention.

The World Meeting of Families rejected a Rochester-based “Catholic” group known as Fortunate Families because their group’s teachings were not in line with Catholic doctrine. They are promoting scandal, and it simply makes the RCC look bad.

I apologize if this hurts anyone, but my hope is that people will be tolerate and respectful of those of us who wish to follow orthodox Catholicism.

I have nothing against Abby or Meagan or the coach. But, many players have just gone really overboard with the celebration of being a lesbian. Heck, these two players don’t even look feminine. My apologies, but it is just not my taste.

I am more aghast that Hope Solo was allowed to play given her checkered past.

Out of all of this, Solo’s presence on the team is by far the most scandalous. I couldn’t care less about wambach.
