Not sure what you mean SuperLuigi.
For the last few months on here there have been a lot of posts in the News Forums about how Pope Francis was seemingly ditching traditional Catholic teaching.

Part of that was because the mainstream American liberal media was misinterpreting what he meant, in part because his translator wasn’t doing the best job.

It seemed rather obvious to me that the media was hoping to use Pope Francis’s focus on what are generically concerns for the international left (albeit often not genuine in their case) as some kind of signal that the Church was going to embrace a bunch of progressive values.

With Our Holy Father Francis, I new, by his actions and words we were and are on a good Catholic track. Now the liberal media that you talk about wishes for acceptance of there misguided views and spread the news as if it was factual, new, and or changing. No, he’s not changing or adding anything to Church teachings of Doctrines. I believe It is wishful thinking for those of the liberal left who want to perhaps change thinks up.

For some strange reason the liberal media does not run with everything the Pope says…:).
“Still today, the spirit of worldliness leads us to progressivism, to this uniformity of thought” … Negotiating one’s fidelity to God is like negotiating one’s identity, Pope Francis said.
He then asked those present: ‘Do you think there are no human sacrifices today? There are many, many of them. And there are laws that protect them.’”

Yeah, I knew that Pope Francis wasn’t trying to change fundamental doctrine.
