This energy comes from the Holy Spirit, not Reiki.

I’ve been reading about all of the various New Age practices for a while now. None of it is from God. The Occult has become the New Age. Healing crystals, channeling, and on and on. New name, same contents.

In Christ,
Ed
Reiki is the way we incorporate power from God to people we want to be healed. Almost like prayer, really.

Edit: Also, you keep mentioning crystals. Those are optional and are usually not used in Christian Reiki. AS Reiki isn’t a religion, it fits into many.

God has even used me to heal three other people possessed by demonic entities. Demons hate Reiki, so that should tell you something. What is the problem as long as you draw the healign energy from God?
It tells us that you believe demons hate Japanese/new age ritual. That has no scriptural basis. It doesn’t really tell us anything more. You cannot ‘‘draw’’ God’s power any more than you can change His mind.

So prayer is absoutly useless, then?

reiki site cited above:
When seeking a definition from a more spiritual context, we find that Rei can be defined as the Higher Intelligence that guides the creation and functioning of the universe. Rei is a subtle wisdom that permeates everything, both animate and inanimate. This subtle wisdom guides the evolution of all creation ranging from the unfolding of galaxies to the development of life. On a human level, it is available to help us in times of need and to act as a source of guidance in our lives. Because of its infinite nature, it is all knowing. Rei is also called God and has many other names depending on the culture that has named it.

Ki is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Ki is flowing in everything that is alive including plants, animals and humans. When a person’s Ki is high, they will feel strong, confident, and ready to enjoy life and take on it’s challenges. When it is low, they will feel weak and are more likely to get sick. We receive Ki from the air we breath, from food, sunshine, and from sleep. It is also possible to increase our Ki by using breathing exercises and meditation. When a person dies, their Ki leaves the physical body. Ki is also the Chi of China, the prana of India, the Ti or Ki of the Hawaiians, and has also been called odic force, orgone, bioplasma and life force.
**2117 **All practices of *magic *or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one’s service and have a supernatural power over others - even if this were for the sake of restoring their health - are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion.

**occult: **of or pertaining to magic, astrology, or any system claiming use or knowledge of secret or supernatural powers or agencies

This stuff not part of revelation from God, nor does it reconcile with the Truth about God, specifically the Holy Spirit. How many will follow such false paths–God’s holy annointed ones no less? The Holy Martyrs went to death rather than partake of false religious practices.😦

Our Lady, Queen of Clergy, weeps 😦

St. Paul Miki and the Holy Martyrs of Japan, pray for us!

Jesus Christ through the power of His Holy Spirit has given us the power to heal. This practice is not based on Christian teaching at all. It’s just another example of: “Try it, you’ll like it.”

It’s got nothing to do with the Christian God.

God bless,
Ed

This is just another form of the healign God has given us. It has brought about miracles. We must actually strive to be close to God by our actions, not just by reading the Bible and going to CHurch and thinking that we are as close to God as we can be because we pray and have faith.

It is an energy. I’m very familiar with Ki or Chi. It is not a Biblical principle. It should be avoided. Saints have been credited with miracles. Christians can perform miracles. Reiki was not given by God. It is part of an ancient Japanese and Chinese belief system.

God bless,

Ki is the same thing as the Holy Spirit.

Reiki didn’t even come from a pagan religion!
It’s new paganism drawn from older pagan undertandings of reality–contrary to the true undstanding revealed by God. If God wanted us to mess around with “his force” and “our force” He would have made it part of His Church’s Holy Tradition. He didn’t, so we shouldn’t either–are we more wise than God?

We call upon God’s force when we pray. SO should we not pray, then?

The point is, it’s not Christian. It’s not part of Church teaching and it should be avoided.

Actually, Buddhism is Buddhism. Lol, pagan is more like WIccan and magick. Shinto is another eastern religion.
No…Neo-pagans call themselves pagan. In fact Paganism is used to descirbe non Abrahamic faiths. It is an umbrella term, not a religion.

If you want to have a relationship with the angels, pray like a Catholic, pray a chaplet. Here is the Chaplet of St. Michael and the Holy Angels.
I’m glad you have found all the spiritual developement you need in prayer. Unfortunately, it sin’t like that for me. I need lots of backgrounds, but I like that. The point is that God has helped so many people using me as a transmuter for his energies. It is a wonderful experience. I haven’t gotten sick at all within the past 6 months I’ve been practicing this.

Edit: Beautiful link, by the way/👍
