Vaccines and abortion

One problem occurs with the fact that eventually this strain will “run out” and this will be done again, unless we as consumers demand that the vaccine companies do not do this again. They can come up with alternatives, but have no reason to bother unless we speak up 😉 .
 
I totally agree. For that same reason, we have not used vaccines that are derived from these lines. Also, it helps that currently (from what my very Catholic doctor tells me) the only vaccines that are derived from these lines are not really worth using anyway. Like the chicken pox vaccine…It’s not that bad a disease anyway and the odds of getting chicken pox FROM THE VACCINE and dying from it are about the same as the odds of getting chicken pox and dying from it. So, there’s not much of a benefit.
 
Fantastic topic… I come from Scotland … raised by an Irish mother… and this is how it used to work regarding childhood diseases. If my Mum knew of any kids that HAD Chickenpox, Mumps or Measles… she would make my brother and I go and play with them… This was the NORM… That way we developed NATURAL IMMUNITY…by contracting the disease while we were young. It was well known that to get it when you were OLDER COULD BE SERIOUS… Vaccines only DELAY the possibility of getting these diseases… that is why you have to have boosters… but even then… you can get it FROM the VACCINE…or have side effects from the heavy metals or other substances contained in the concoction that they inject into you…or your child. So apart from the fact that we are CANNABALIZING our UNBORN in order to have HEALTH…we are overlooking God’s design via our IMMUNE SYSTEM. Newborns are supposed to get their IMMUNITY from their MOTHER’S BREAST MILK…which is specifically designed in content for each child…plus it carries the mother’s BUILT UP RESISTANCE to common viruses… What we are doing today…is DISCOURAGING BREAST FEEDING…or having a BREAST FEEDING MOTHER go on THE PILL or THE SHOT…etc. which destroys the Mother’s Immune system and is therefore damaging to her nursing child. We THEN shoot unknown substances into the blood stream of this little infant who has not built up their immune system via natural means and now they are having to reject this NON SELF ATTACK. I know that vaccines have been touted as having saved lives…but I have also read that Polio was about to die out anyway… when we introduced the Polio vaccine…and that our TONSILS are a natural means of fighting Polio…but remember when they would take out the tonsils of WHOLE FAMILIES…because our Medical System told us … they weren’t needed anyway!

I say…EAT HEALTHY…GET ENOUGH REST…RELAX…say your PRAYERS… EXERCISE… and hug and love and breast feed your infants… and let them get what is going around it will be less of a danger than injecting them with DNA from another child that has been aborted…OR … having their little bodies bombarded with stuff that they probably would never get…such as Hepatitis B…C…D…or XYZ…

we are also supposed to give up the vaccines that doctors give our children to prevent them from the off chance they may catch a disease?

Well, I never really believed it before but now im beginning to come around to the side of the poeple that say that you guys want to drag us back to the middle ages! 😉

I honestly believe that if parents don’t vaccinate their children, their children should be taken away and given to people who love them.

Wow… to the last post… Anyway, I think it is a Philisophical question… Do you believe God made us without any way of acquiring immunity…naturally… or do you think Jesus and all those who lived before vaccines were imperiled because of God’s lack of a good design… Yes … disease has wiped out untold numbers of peoples down through the ages… and yes… we need to employ whatever means we have available to prevent or to save them from these diseases…and yes… MEDICINE is a good… TECHNOLOGY …is a good… but there are things that are “discovered” or “designed” that are not always good. More people die from the drugs that doctors have prescribed for them…which they were taking as prescribed… BUT IT KILLED THEM… Old Wives Tales… are sometimes VERY SCIENTIFIC and so the wisdom that mothers and others have acquired over the ages…in birthing, raising and protecting their children should not be so easily pooh poohed… so guys…just calm down… no one is wanting to take you back to the middle ages…just asking you to see beyond “Almighty Science”… to Almighty God and His LOVE and CARE… for those MADE IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS.

Of course, because apparently according to you guys real love is not protecting your children from diseases…

Yes… to protect our children from “diseases” both physical and more importantly SPIRITUAL…is LOVE. Pope John Paul II in his Theology of The Body… explained how… what we do to the body, we do to the soul. … and what we do to the soul…we do to the body… The connection between our bodies and souls is inseperable. You can’t hurt one without hurting the other…We are TEMPLES of THE HOLY SPIRIT so we have no right to harm our own bodies… and what we do to others we do to Christ… so let’s all get busy in protecting our children… before the fact…is easier than after the fact.
