As sad as this might be on the surface, it represents a strong hope on the horizon - the night is darkest before the dawn. The devil might be growing in influence and power, but it will be short lived. The Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph. All we have to do is keep praying!
 
As long as we have faith and continue to proclaim the Word, and as importantly, live the Word, we will be okay. God will not allow us to be blotted out.

Or He may allow us to be blotted out (a bit) just as He allowed the prophets and martyrs before us.
