Vatican arrests Femen activist who bared breasts in St Peter's Square

Femen has to be the most useless activist organization in the world. I’ve never been able to figure out what they accomplish. People who support FEMEN’s views will applaud their stunt, those who do not will not, and those in between will be amused but won’t be inclined to change their opinion. At best they can raise awareness, but is anyone really surprised that the Catholic Church opposes abortion? Thoroughly useless.
 
Shame that nudity causes such a stir and that’s the only reason for this stunt.

God made us Man and Woman, so, seeing each other naked really shouldn’t be cause for any scandal (IMHO); however, there’s the evil and darkness in this world that seeks to pervert the beauty that God the Father gave us in the beginning… sad that we haven’t been able to shake that consequence of the first sin.

Of course, don’t get me wrong, if you came into my place of business naked, I’d ask you sit on a chair liner ( yes, think along the lines of those things one puts on a toilet bowl (had “boil” - must have been thinking about cleaning the chair too 😃 ) seat) - hygiene is still hygiene!.
 
Feminism is extremism.

Funny how these femen women hate men but give some men what they love – breasts.

They achieve nothing.
 
I saw it on television , but have no idea what her problem was,
But perhaps she was frustrated in her feelings,
And thought this was the last straw, and doing this might be the only way she could get attention to her problem

Normally, I demand transparency, but in this case, I hope there is a cover-up.
 
From what I hear, this kind of childishness is typical of “Femen”.

It’s just women who want to be more like men. To be “equal” to men, whom implicitly they see as superior to them.

Were it the other way around, they’d force men to do housework and raise children. You know. Like normal wives do.
 
I have to say that breasts are not sex organs. They are literally masses of fat designed to feed babies. The media has sensationalized breasts and treating them as taboo has MADE them into sex objects. If it isn’t appropriate for a woman to walk around without a shirt then men shouldn’t either. The double standard is frankly sexist. That said it wouldn’t be appropriate for a man to walk around St. Peter’s without a shirt and I don’t understand what the group is even protesting, if the group were a company and the protest an advertisement then it would be a colossal failure.
 
Weren’t a bunch of posters on this forum singing this groups praises as freedom fighters when the evil Russians arrested them? I wonder what they think of them now.

You are aware that women have to cover their hair when visiting the Vatican right, forget about breasts.

Besides they also jumped into an exhibit and “stole” baby jesus which you can see on youtube.
 
Actually women are not required to cover their hair, it’s just customary for formal ceremonies. Also I’m not defending the group’s actions, I’m only pointing out that if we weren’t so obsessed with breasts then there wouldn’t have been a ‘protest’ of this nature.

Exactly. They were saying that there was no freedom in Russia because the ***** Riot band was arrested after singing sacrilegious songs in a Russian Orthodox cathedral. Why was it wrong for Russia to arrest these punks, but it is right when the Vatican does it?

Because P**** Riot are not an affiliate of FEMEN. One time they condemned an action of a FEMEN member who chainsawed a statue of Christ in Ukraine.
The desecration of the cross was repudiated by Maria Alyokhina of ***** Riot, who said “Their surprise displays and protests against authoritarianism are similar to us, but we look at feminism differently, especially the form of speech.
