Yeah, except in Obama’s eyes that’s not a “failure.” He’s actually admitted in the past that he wants energy prices to rise. Of course when people try to ask him about that now (in an election year) he just dodges the question.

And where are the liberals concerned about the plight of the poor in this case? The high gas prices is like a regressive tax on the poor. The poor, working class, working families, working mom’s etc. that the left/liberals are always saying they care about - the high gas prices take money out of their pockets that could be used to buy food and other necessities. And what is Obama’s answer, buy a Prius? Obama cares more about appeasing the environmental lobby that donates heavily to his campaign than he does the working classes.

As do many investors. They’re not making much with money sitting in the bank getting low-interest rates.

No one’s complaining about the high stock market prices, except those who don’t hold stock.

The poor don’t own stocks but the poor have to drive a car and pay the high gasoline price.

Many who live in the cities don’t own cars. Even those that do take public transportation but eventually their cost of transportation will go up.

This is my last post on this thread to bring us back to topic… No, the Vatican is not under attack because of the Vatican Bank issue…I personally want the money going to the church to be 100% transparent as to where it is going, and what is being used for.

As my priest told me, more money goes to the Vatican from the US than the rest of the world combined. I think our church could do with much greater involvement in these financial matters from the people in the pews, and less from the bureaucrats that now control the money in the Vatican. There has been more than one scandal with the Vatican Bank over the years. Coming from the country that gives the most money, I for one support any and all efforts to have financial transparency within the Vatican Bank. I do not see that as an attack at all. It should have to meet the same standard of transparency than any other bank does. After all, if everything is on the up and up, there should be nothing to hide.

But I thought you liked bureaucrats 🤷 You want them to decide what kind of healthcare coverage we should all have and force us to provide abortificients for free. You want them to decide who wins and loses in the auto industry. I guess what’s good for the goose is not what’s good for the gander after all.

Not “all on their own.” You’re forgetting the bits about “be fruitful and multiply” (not “contracept and be childless”) and “the two shall become one flesh” (not “the two shall remain two fleshes separated by a thin latex – or chemical – barrier”), for starters.
