It should be noted that this is Cardinal Robert Sarah, president of the Pontifical Council Cor Unum in 2010. His last name peaked my dark curiosity with the unfortunate “womenpriests” schismatic groups, and am thankful that the news story is completely unrelated.

Good show!
He sounds like Cardinal Arinze. 👍
Reminds me of the former Archbishop of Manilla, Cardinal Jaime Sin!!!
When Cardinal Sin was boy, he was a Venial Sin.
When he became a Cardinal, he became a Cardinal Sin.
When he died in 2005, he became a Mortal Sin.
May he rest in peace. Amen.

I wish that some of the “divine judgment” would fall in the form of disciplinary actions from the priests’ superiors.

However…this is me not holding my breath 😦

Here something important is revealed. Priests, bishops, no longer believe. That is the reason for their disobedience.

It seems to me that, if there is today a true crisis in the world, that crisis is that of the love of Christ and of the pope, the Vicar of Christ, among many, and even among certain Christians, priests, and bishops. They consider the pope and Christ as an idea or an institution or a power or a myth and not as they modestly and divinely are, to wit: a God that, in the man Jesus, has defeated death so that man can experience liberation, and a brother (the pope), who guides men liberated by the blood of Jesus and who are called, for their part, to lead others to the fullness of liberation that is nothing else than the plenitude of love

He should also have called for priests everywhere to loudly and clearly condemn those amongst their own ranks who have sexually preyed on children or others in their care. He should have highlighted that not only will the perpetrators of these truly evil deeds feel the condemnation of God, but so too will those in authority who failed to act properly to bring these creatures of the devil to justice. Do that, Your Graces, and you will court some credibility amongst your congregations.

What are you talking about? That is not how things really work. It is not about who screams the loudest. The CC has the great Wisdom of God. Catholics will return to God in due time. There will be repentance in due time.
