There is a story from the Associated Press today on Yahoo News that has an unclear statement in the middle of the article that seems to imply that the Vatican may have supported terrorism in the past. Not sure if they mean the Vatican knowingly or unknowingly did this. The statement reads as follows;
“It’s now against the law in the Vatican to train anyone for terrorist acts or to provide them with chemical or bacteriological weapons.”
Does the Vatican really need such a law?? Can anyone shed some light on the AP’s statement since training terrorists would certaintly not be part of Vatican activities. Why would a statement like this be part of the article. If the Vatican was involved in this type of activity it would probably be a much bigger story than burried in the middle of an unrelated article.
