Vatican Demands China Acknowledge Pope's Power to Name Bishops

Like when Bishop Lebrvre was excommunicated for disobeying the Pope for choosing his replacement. And also continue Trendine Mass?\

I think alot people want to know… why false priests who were sex offenders and broke their vow of chasity by harming young children were defrocked or just left. It was as if evil was condoned. They should have been excommunicated…

Pope Benedict XVI needs to straighten out America…across the country there are lies on top of lies…Our HOly Father should make America a priority by removing Bishops that condoned sin and then take care of things in China.

How could they be excommunicated if they repented?

In case you don’t know, the Catholic Church does not revolve around America. The U.S. is on the way out, right behind Europe. Africa, China, and India are on the way in.

This sounds like the good old days of the Holy Roman Empire when the secular powers asserted their authority to name bishops. Ah, yes. I remember from high school that the Bishop of Mainz - or was it of Cologne - was one of the electors of the Emperor. And remember all that furor for those decades of the Council of Trent? All that political juggling! The more things change, the more they stay the same.
