That raises the disturbing possibility that New York Governor Cuomo, having some months ago invited Catholics to leave “his” state, would then be see cozying-up to the Pope in photo opportunities. Along with, of course, all the other pro-abortion “Catholic” politicians. That kind of hypocrisy and political opportunism are always upsetting elements of a Papal visit.
 
A Pope cannot visit the United States and NOT visit New York. It would break all historical precedent. I thought this would have been a given.
