Sadly this happens all across the world where Islam is the dominant political force. I am stationed in Iraq and Catholic in Baghdad were forced to celebrate midnight Mass at 1600 in response to threats. In Basra they were unable to celebrate their joy publicly because of the pagan event of Ashura that the Islamic horde were celebrating. In Mosul a Church dating to before the great schism was attacked. The indigenous Christian minority in Iraq has suffered the most proportionality since this war began. We, as fellow Christians, should be considering them allies in this war as well as affording them special protections.
