I think you’re a little off here. Rejecting Vatican II doesn’t mean I’m not Catholic. If Vatican II itself went against the teachings of the Church then why the heck should I accept it? You can tell me I have to accept it all you want but it does no good since you aren’t the Pope or anything. Although really, the Pope wouldn’t convince me to accept it either.And what you can’t seem to understand is that you are playing the game of the pot calling the kettle black. Rejecting the documents ofVatican 2, aside from the breadth and depth of hubris this shows, is playing the same game of “pick and choose” that you accuse the liberals of doing. Vatican 2 is part of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. You can no more reject it and be a Catholic than can a liberal reject the Church’s stance on abortion and be a Catholic
Actually, you have it backward. The reason they reached a compromise with Rome is because they accept the documents of Vatican 2. My, isn’t that grand of you.
And yeah, I know the FSSP accepted the Vatican II Documents.
