I’m so glad that Pope Benedict is on board with technological means to communicate.
I’ve just now set my own Twitter page to follow him on Twitter. I’m pretty new on Twitter, so I only have a Twitter page that I created under my own real name. On it I have the icons of people who Twitter that I want to follow their tweets →
By the way, I do not have a cell phone, so I am dealing only with reading people’s Twitter pages.
Took a Google search to find the name of Pope Benedict’s Twitter address because I could not read on any of the news articles linked to the CA home page about this news that give his actual Twitter page’s address.
Nor could I find his Twitter address referenced on news.va.
Um. Maybe someone can tell me where, exactly, the news of the Vatican that he intended to tweet is located on his Twitter page?
All I can see is more than 450 individual postings from readers to his Twitter page. Many of those postings are not respectful of him, at all.
I’m wondering, respectfully, if the Pope anticipated this outcome? As in, how is he ever going to get his message on his Twitter page since there’s so many pieces of flotsom and jetsum – comments from people onto his Twitter page?
Maybe I’ve got it all wrong. Isn’t a Twitter page supposed to be the place where you want immediate and very brief messages from you to post to the world?
