It strikes me as a little funny that the complementarity of the sexes is something that now requires a defense. Sister Butler, a Mundelein theologian, writes that “creation in two sexes belongs to God’s revelation.”
Well sure, but it also is a fact of biology that is evident by just looking.
Only in a world gone off the hinges would one have to ‘defend’ sexual complementarity. Um, it’s a fact of nature. It’s right there. Always has been.

Now Now JimG. Didn’t you know that there’s umpteen actual genders that anyone can be? -said totally tongue in cheek… but not at the poor folks who have gender related problems and are encouraged in thinking of them as legitimate gender identities by this devil benighted world-

That is a terrible summary and it took me awhile to find the article in question. I think this is it for anybody that’s interested. It wasn’t what I expected. Gender as a social construct is about the silliest thing I’ve ever heard. I feel like it can be disproven by baby girls who choose a doll over a truck. That dosn’t mean there can’t be a disconnect between a person’s gender and sex organs but I don’t think she is talking about medical anomolies anyway. Admittedly I only skimmed the article, it’s a bit long and wordy.
