Bishops and other experts to address the synod have sought to draw a sharp distinction between “moderate” Muslims and “extremists” who support a radical and political version of Islam.
Could it be because there will always be justification of an “extremist” interpretation of Islam in the Koran itself, and there has never been a central Islamic authority to say otherwise.
