People who criticise gay sexual relations for religious or moral reasons are increasingly being attacked and vilified for their views, a Vatican diplomat told the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday.

Archbishop Silvano Tomasi said the Roman Catholic Church deeply believed that human sexuality was a gift reserved for married heterosexual couples. But those who express these views are faced with “a disturbing trend,” he said.

He’s right. Liberal facism is rife in the world today. Our Pope says gay people should be treated with respect and dignity which every human deserves, so why cant gay people have respect and tolerance for religious freedom? And if they cant respect or tolerate it why dont they just ignore it and get on with their own lives?

Liberal facism
:hypno: Is this some form of oxymoron? :hypno:

Most gay people are respectful and tolerant of religious freedom. I don’t hold the entire LGBT community responsible for loud minority within a minority.

Have you noticed how language is misused in this issue as well? If you disagree with homosexual behaviour you are a homophobe–but I am certainly not scared of homosexuals, I am critical of them.

If you disagree with the idea that homosexuality is as “valid” as heterosexuality, you’re instantly a bigot!

Almost. If you hate someone without a valid reason for something not within their control then you’re a bigot. Ex. If you hate someone who is gay, but do not know if they have sinned, then you’re a bigot. If you hate a gay sinner you are not a bigot, but it’s still not cool to be a hater. Hate the sin not the sinner. When people go all Fred Phelps (WBC) it helps no one.

Who mentioned hating anyone?
