Here is a fascinating excerpt from an interview with Egyptian professor Zaynab Abd Al-Aziz which appeared on Saudi TV last month:

Abd Al-Aziz: “The decision to impose one religion over the entire world was made in the Second Vatican Council in 1965.”

Host: “Huh?”

Abd Al-Aziz: “Yes. A long time ago.”

Host: “They decided to Christianize the world?”

Abd Al-Aziz: “Yes. The decisions of the 1965 Vatican Council included, first of all, absolving the Jews of the blood of Christ. This decision is well known and was the basis for the recognition of the occupying Zionist entity - Israel. The second decision was to eradicate the left in the eighties. I believe we’ve all witnessed this. The third decision was to eradicate Islam, so that the world would be Christianized by the third millennium.”

Host: “Why is America hostile to Islam, although we never had and never will have the same conflict with them we had with Europe?”

Abd Al-Aziz: "Well, do you remember what we just said about the Second Vatican Council in 1965 and about Christianizing the world? It was agreed upon and pre-arranged. John Paul II prepared a five-year plan, on the eve of the third millennium, Christianize the world. His address in 1995 was based on the assumption that by the year 2000, the entire world would be Christianized. Since the plan was not accomplished, the World Council of Churches assigned this mission to the US in January 2001, since the US is the world’s unrivaled military power. They named the decade between 2001-2010 “the age of eradicating evil” - “evil” referring to Islam and Muslims.

"The Crusader war is ongoing, because it has been a religious war since the dawn of Islam. Later, colonialism, missionaries, and Christianization were introduced. The Crusader war is ongoing. The Inquisition courts exist to this day. As I told you, the pope who was appointed a few days ago, headed the Inquisition Court, which is now called the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

*“When in January 2001, the World Council of Churches delegated this mission to the US - what did the US do? It fabricated the show of… is it September 9 or 11?” *

You can read the rest for yourself.

interesting. would that explain why islam is still the world’s fastest growing religion despsite the vatican’s alleged agressive christianization of the world? my question is this. since the U.S. has a separation of church and state, and there have been so few catholic presidents and member’s of congress and supreme court justices, why would the church choose the US to "christianize the world? Al Aziz must be part of some sort of propaganda campaign or something.

Please cite your evidence of this? Not saying it isn’t true, but I’ve seen the same claim from the Mormons and the Wiccans.

I just remember from high school. and that wasn’t too long ago. but you may be right about wicca. I know alot of people who converted to wicca in the past few years. they even had wiccan services during basic training. they had a wiccan chaplain at lackland air force base. it was a new thing when i went through.

oh, i’ve also heard the same from jehoveh’s witnesses about them being the fastest growing religion.

Normally the fastest growing religions are small. If you are the founder of a religion and you get two of your friends to join, your religion has grown 150%!

lol that is true. i think officially it’s still islam. shoot, even michael jackson converted last year.

Boy some on is paranoid!!
However a tenet of our faith is to go out and make disciples of all nations so of course the Church would want to see the world Catholic, it’s part of her duty, is it not?
What about the islamimation of the world; war in the Philipines, Bosnia, ex soviet states whose names I cant spell. It is the radical muslim that is the aggressor.
As for stats, the catholic Church is still the fasting growing religeon in the world as it should be!

Hispanic is not a religion nor is the US the world. Until the mid sixties Islam was the fastest growing religion in the world. From the mid sixties to the mid-nineties Christianity began expanding more rapidly outside the US especially through Catholic and Charismatic groups. I would suspect that Islam has now regained that initiative.

I have no evidence for this claim but it is my perception that some of the growth claims of all religions are a bit bloated. Atheism is certainly on the rise from my observations as a college teacher.

And what religion did they decide to impose? 😃

Catholicism is a proposition not an imposition. Yes, the goal is to propose it to the whole world as Jesus commanded.

Is Abd Al-Aziz a Muslim?

If so, then he needs to remember that his religion tried what he’s talking about 1300 years ago, when Islam was in its infancy. They nearly did it in Europe, but were stopped at the Battle of Tours.

Silent Rick: "The decision to impose one religion over the entire world was made in the Middle East around the 7th century, A.D.

Peace in Christ,
Richard 👍

Richard, they are trying it now.

Impose?

Someone on this board once told me that organizing Catholics is like herding cats. D-oh!

My thoughts exactly. Heck, Rome has a hard time imposing it’s will on it’s own bishops!!

And they may win Europe this time, where the native populations are aborting and contracepting themselves out of existence. Regarding the assertion of the interviewee, that would be an insidious plot indeed: John Paul II’s Vatican working with the World Council of Churches? Yes, I’ll put all my eggs in THAT basket!

Wow. I did not know that Catholics were so darn sneaky. We have to decide in secret to impose our beliefs. Have we tried good old-fashioned manipulation yet?

On another section of this forum, someone posted comments from a fundamentalist who stated that Catholics are at fault for the start and rise of Islam.

We just can’t win. EVERYTHING is our “fault” sigh
