Anyone know what happened to Sister Judith Zoebelein who used to be their webmaster?

I’m not sure. In October 2009, she was credited with helping produce a video about the necropolis under St. Peter’s Basilica. She was listed as:
Sister Judith Zoebelein, F.S.E., Internet Office of the Holy See, Vatican
va/various/basiliche/necropoli/credits.html

I appreciate the work she, and her team have accomplished. And I look forward to the improvements!

Hits is an oft-confused metric, but (on an equivalent basis) catholic.com runs about 5-8 million hits per day.
