Sad to hear that Dame Vera Lynn, passed away on 18 June 2020, surrounded by her close family. Enjoyed as a child and still do Til We Meet Again.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon her.

Yes, I just saw this myself. Praying for the repose of her soul.

“White Cliffs of Dover”, she was such an inspiration during World War II.

I kept up with her, she even actually had some sort of album released only a few years ago.

She will remain a great inspiration, one of my favorite songs ever.

“Gentleman” Jim Reeves also does a very noteworthy rendition of “White Cliffs of Dover” in case, anyone is interested.

Wow! God Bless her! If only we could all enjoy 103 productive years!
