I feel tremendous guilt posting this prayer request because I believe that we’re not supposed to tell, but I have become completely desperate. I cannot live like this anymore. I am becoming physically, psychologically, and spiritually sick. Please, please pray very hard for me that God will give me the strength and the courage I need to leave this nightmare. I am 44, I have been dealing with this since I was 22. I have tried absolutely everything, nothing changes, it only grows worse. I am so scared. I have not worked in almost eight years and I’m afraid to go out into the world. Please pray for me that I can find a good job so that I can become financially independent and pray that I have the courage to finally put an end to this suffering by filing for divorce and getting an annulment. My family, friends, and priest have all encouraged me to leave. My mind cannot grasp that a person could treat another human being in this manner. When these horrible things happen, I’m afraid to go to Mass because I feel so unworthy. ~Therese

Therese, I’ll be praying very very hard for you everyday. Catherine

You are surely in my prayers right now!!

Please don’t feel bad about asking!! We are told to pray for one another, and it is a privilege to do so.
God bless you.

I pray that you get all the support you need to carry out your plan! Be brave!

Please remember that you are special in God’s eyes. Don’t believe the garbage that your husband spews. You are loved and thought very highly of by others in your life and more importantly by Christ Himself. You will be in my prayers. Please continue to stay strong!

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Therese,

my prayers are with you and all spouses who suffer in their marriages.

The Lord is my shepherd,
There is nothing I shall lack.
Even when I walk through a dark valley,
I fear no harm for You are at my side;
Your rod and staff give me courage.
Only goodness and love will pursue me
all the days of my life.
I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for years to come.
Psalm 23:1,4,6

Please go to Church, reconciliation, receive the Blessed Sacrament and know that God is with you always and forever.

Glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the begining, is now
and forever shall be,
world without end,
Amen.

Praying very hard for you. Please go to Mass. You are worthy, don’t believe otherwise! God loves you and all things are possible with God! Be Brave!

My prayers are with you. Don’t ever skip chuch because if feeling inadequate. We are all sinners, trying to find out way. May God bless you this season and give you the strength you need to keep on keeping on. I am so glad your family is in your corner. Let them help you. It would be a blessing for them to know you are safe.

Therese - Do not feel unworthy, for you are loved. You have carried your cross for a long time now, and it is time to put it down. Turn to our Lord for help and pray with a contrite heart. He will hear you and give you the graces you need to move forward with a new found strength. Trust in Him and listen for His whisper.

Pray the Rosary to our Blessed Mother and ask Her to place you into Her Immaculate Heart for guidance and protection. She will also take your prayers and bring them to Her Son. Now, what Son can refuse a Mother’s request? Stay strong in your faith and go to church. Be reconciled before Christ, and receive of His Body and Blood. It will bring down graces upon you. You will be amazed at the strength you will feel. Just be open to receive all He has to offer.

Do not walk in fear, but in the love of Christ. You can do it, for if God is with you, who can stand against you. Nothing is impossible for God. Trust in Him.

I will pray that you find the strength from our Lord through His Mother Mary.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise me not my petition, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

You are in my prayers. My husband was also verbally abusive. He was addicted to drugs. I prayed to St. Monica and he has been drug free for over 6 years. Just keep going to Church and maybe one day he will join you too. :gopray2:

Therese, I remember that your husband Rodney is fighting cancer. This alone can rip a family apart. This cross is too heavy to handle alone. Get some help and support. My family struggled with my cancer and still does, but it has gotten alot better. I"ll pray for you, your husband and your situation. Don’t let this beat you! Tim

My prayers and empathy are with you…Praying for God to provide the resources and pathway out of your terrible situation.😦

You can do it, just take one step at a time, and keep telling yourself you are not to blame for any of this you are the victim,you don’t deserve all the hurt you are receiving, when the time is right for you walk forward don’t look back, you deserve better you have a right to a better life, So just take that first step forward, and keep going the more steps forward you take the easier it will be good luck i will be praying for you, please let us know how you are doing god bless:hug1:

You are not Atlas holding up the world! No one can fix/heal/outlast the anger in another person who chooses to hold on to it. Not only that, but because you are directly connected, the damage you do to yourself in the process is, in itself, violent and destructive. Fear dominates and immobilizes you. If you cannot do it alone, there are plenty of organizations filled with folks who will walk with you as you do it. You needn’t suffer alone.
God be with you as you go towards peace. Praying…
