More recently, the Obama era regulations and policies probably shaved a good half percentage off his post recession recovery growth.
And even more recently they did away with the sequester and just let themselves go with the deficit. Anyone can create jobs by spending money.

From what I’ve seen of it through YouTube videos 5G is quite impressive but it will take a few years to set up enough stations to be successful. There are still a lot of barriers.

Rep. Al Green said “if we don’t impeach Trump, he will be reelected”, all stops are pulled out with this Bolshevik-Orwellian propaganda we see.

There is zero reason to believe it won’t happen that way the next time.
Zero? Let’s pretend we didn’t hear that he will accept the results only if he wins. He’s always got the courts and AG Barr.
Okay. Let’s also pretend we didn’t hear Clinton say she would accept the results.
I guess the pot and kettle are interchangeable.

Trump inherited a strong economy and is doing everything he can to slow it down - tariffs, trade wars, bonkers statements that cause the Dow to roller coaster.
Now I know youre just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks.

“The China trade war is causing most of this,” said Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.), who is close to Trump. “It’s just the world economy is affected when China has a problem.”

Trump has publicly gloated about economic problems in China and Europe — even declaring last Sunday that “the world is in a recession right now” — but those strains appear to be holding back U.S. growth as well.

The economic message emanating from the White House is a product of tensions and debates about how to handle that bracing reality — and Trump’s own stubbornness on trade strategy and his anger about news coverage of the economy.

The next question is "Are you in a state in which your vote wont change the electorial outcome?

Dems have a weak record on the economy
I don’t know what criteria you’re using but job growth under LBJ, Carter, and Clinton was not too shabby where the top six market crashes all came under Republican administrations. (Hoover, Nixon-2, Reagan, Bush-2)

How bout this novel thought? Try stopping the drumbeat of an impending recession when clearly that’s not the case.Intetesting that the economy wasn’t even brought up in the dems debate a few nights ago, hmmmmm wonder why🤨BTW rethorical question

The criteria that I am using is my hourly rate has double under Trump. That wouldnt have happened und clinton

Just ask the soy bean farmers. And the other millions of workers who lost their jobs due to Trump’s trade wars.

Just look at the BIG picture and the LONG haul. Right now our national debt has soared to incredible heights. Those borrowed sums will have to be repaid - by our children and grandchildren. With interest, of course. Not fun, and it will be worse. Much worse!

So you tell me to look at the big picture and then you single out soybean farmers. Then you go one to write about deficits and the debt as if it just started to soar under Trump.

I have been against deficit spend when Ford did it, when Carter did it, when Reagan did it, when bush 1 did it, when clinton did it, when Bush 2 did it, when obama did it and now when Trump does it.

Unlike Democrats that will find ways to justify it they are in power and against it when they are out of power. I dont try and justify it now or in the past.

I support Trump tariffs so there is no such thing as free trade. I support a trade agreement that removes all barriers for trade between China and the US. Plus any other country and the US.

There are very intelligent ways to stop deficient spending and pay off the debt. The best way is to limit the federal government to a percentage of gdp with that percentage being lowered every 4 years plus a percentage of GDP collected that goes to paying off the debt, once paid it stops.

I believe voters will look at recent and proposed Dem economic policies, not what happened 20-80 years past. For the GOP, they too will focus on recent policies only and not past goals.

I will vote for any stable adult - which leaves him out.
Nope. 🙂
It leaves him in without a 2020 election, because there is nobody stable to vote for between the two parties.
J/k well- sorta

One of Prez Trump’s biggest election promises was to reduce the debt and deficit spending. He has not done that at all. Didn’t they recently lift the ceiling on the debt once again? Republicans were so irate at Obama for increasing the debt, how can they be ok with Trump breaking this very important promise?

Yes!
recent and proposed Dem economic policies
Yeah! Like where are we getting all this money from to fund the policies? People and businesses need to pay taxes to fund the programs dems want to implement. We’ll be putting band-aids on serious injuries, because that’s all the taxes on a $15 per hour wage will pay for under universal healthcare.

Well, I was watching a 9/11 special of what President Bush did that day. It was certainly nice to watch a President who could form complex thoughts and express himself with sentences longer than three words.

No matter what you think about him, or Obama, or Clinton, they were stable in the sense that they acted within the norms of the Presidency and didn’t always talk about themselves or denigrate others.

Why are you selectively editing my post? Please go back and re-read it and if you fail to understand it, re-read it again and again and again and again until you realize I am against deficit spending.

A couple of observations. First, by calling Trump’s Presidency illegitimate due to his failure to win the popular vote, don’t you set up a situation in which he would be justified in not surrendering power if he were to win the popular vote but lose the electoral? Second, if you really believe there’s a possibility that Trump won’t step down, why are his opponents making disarming the public their biggest legislative priority? It seems to me that putting all firearms under the control of Trump, as the Commander in Chief of the military, and the chief federal law enforcement officer makes an attempt to seize power much more likely to succeed.
